This quote is often referred to as the "Oh-Oh" of Metallica. It's actually more of a paraphrase of a phrase used by Sammy Hagar of Van Halen. Hagar says "What was it like?" when he gets asked about something he did, like say his first time surfing. Then he answers "Hell if I know" and then details everything that happened.

Then he says "next time someone asks..." and then elaborates more about what happened next. This is more of a fun story than advice but it's still said in the context of music so I figured it would be appropriate in this forum.
